The Heavens Are God's Handiwork - God Is Revealed In And Through Them
I will begin by clarifying that this section will be discussing God's configuration of the heavens, and some of the messages to us which He appears to have placed there. This has nothing to do with astrology, which is Satan's corrupted copy of what God has created and instructed us to consider:
"Then God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and they shall serve as signs and for seasons, and
for days and years...." - Genesis 1:14
"This is what the Lord says: "Do not learn the way of the nations, And do not be terrified by the signs of the heavens, Although the nations are terrified by
them...." - Jeremiah 10:2
"The constellations are not the blobs of psychologists, whose patients impose their own meanings, but is the mosaic of God. Yahweh has set the stars in place to make the Pleiades and Orion and all the other constellations. The constellations in the sky were discovered by man, not made by him. The constellations were made by God, which means they serve a specific purpose in his world; they point to God in some unique way." - Read the entire article.

Signs in the Heavens
Prominent In The Heavens At the Time of Creation
The Sun - Symbol of God's Power, Majesty and Justice, particularly as evidenced in Creation. The All-Powerful Father. Jesus the Creator. "But unto you that fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings...." - Malachi 4:2 (KJ21)
"In the Bible, the sun is portrayed as a powerful and majestic symbol of God's strength and sovereignty. In Psalm 19:1, King David writes, "The heavens
declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." This passage highlights the connection between the sky, the sun, and God's glory.
The sun is often associated with God's power and might, and its magnificence reflects the splendor of God's creation." - article
The Moon - Symbol of God's Love, Nurture and Mercy, particularly as evidenced in God's Plan of Salvation. The All-Loving Father. Jesus the Savior. "According to biblical interpretation, the moon is a symbol of spiritual enlightenment, renewal, and rebirth. It also represents the cyclical nature of life - the
continuous process of birth, death, and rebirth. The moon's phases, in particular, symbolize the journey of spiritual growth and awakening. "The moon is a symbol of the divine feminine energy of the universe. It represents the nurturing and compassionate qualities of God, and the
nourishing and creative forces of life." " - article
Jupiter - Symbol of 1st Advent Messiah, Jesus the Redeemer: Who Satisfied Justice, thereby Enabling the Grace of Mercy for our Salvation. "Jupiter, with its red spot in its side, is a symbol of the Messiah: wounded for our transgressions. It is composed of gas, like the Sun, but orbits around the
Sun. In the same way, God who is spirit (gas giant) incarnated as a child and grew up as a man under the law of God (under the law of gravity). Jesus put
away his divine privileges and power (nuclear reactions in the Sun) and humbled himself to become a man (Jupiter has no nuclear reactions within itself). Jesus fulfilled all the just requirements of the law[Justice Satisfied] that he might offer his life as a sinless sacrifice of atonement[Mercy Enabled]. The
sheer mass of Jupiter, which is over two times the mass of all the other planets, tells us it is a symbol of something (in this case, someone) that is hugely
important to God's spiritual program in the Universe." - article
"Jupiter is a gaseous planet, and ... among the planets gas represents the spiritual life. Jupiter represents the Messiah in his first coming to earth, fully man
and fully God through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit." - article
Venus - Symbol of 2nd Advent Messiah, Jesus the Light of the World: The Bright Morning Star Who Reveals All and Reestablishes His Kingdom. "The Bible has many metaphors (symbolic word-pictures) for God and Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself said I am the bread of life, the light of the world, the door,
the good shepherd and the true vine. All these metaphors give us meaningful insight into the many different aspects of the character, roles and relationships
of Christ." - article
After the Sun (All-Powerful God) and the Moon (All-Loving God), the planet Venus is the third brightest light in the heavens. Rising in the East, and lingering in the early morning sky longer than any other planet or star, Venus has from ancient times been described as the bright morning star. So when Jesus took this same expression for Himself while speaking of His Second Coming, we know that Venus was the symbol He intended. Jesus is the Light which reveals all we need to know. Jesus: The Way, the Truth and the Life.
"I am the Light of the world; the one who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life." - John 8:12 "For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be." - Matt 24:27 "Behold, I am coming quickly . . . I am . . . the bright morning star." - Rev 12 & 16
Mercury, The Winged Messenger - Symbol of the Holy Spirit: Who Took the Physical Winged Form of a Dove (Luke 3:22) "Mercury was the Roman god of commerce, often serving as a mediator between the gods and mortals, his winged feet giving him the advantage of speed,
and so was the patron of circulation in general - of people, goods and messages. ... [Mercury] is frequently depicted holding the caduceus, a wand used to reconcileconflicts, and winged sandals for quickly carrying messages for the gods." - article
"Mercury, in the context of biblical studies, refers to the Roman god associated with commerce, communication, and messages." "Mercury was a prominent deity in Roman religion, often depicted as a messenger of the gods, a role that emphasized speed and eloquence." "A fabulous god of the ancient heathen, the messenger of the celestials, and the deity that presided over learning, eloquence, and traffic. - article
The Holy Spirit is the Messenger to the world. He has always fulfilled this role, but does so in a special way since Jesus commissioned Him to convey to mankind, His message of salvation through the New Covenant of love and mercy. The Holy Spirit's role is clearly described as that of a messenger, to relay to man all that He hears from God the Father through God the Son:
"When the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, namely, the Spirit of truth who comes from the Father, He will testify about Me...."
"I [Jesus] have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them at the present time. But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into
all the truth; for He will not speak on His own, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. He will glorify Me,
for He will take from Mine and will disclose it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine; this is why I said that He takes from Mine and will disclose it to
you." - John 15:26 & 16:12-15
"Christ's role as the ultimate messenger is not confined to His earthly ministry. Through the Holy Spirit, He continues to speak to believers today. Hebrews 4:12 describes the Word of God as "living and active", indicating that Christ's message remains dynamic and transformative. Believers are called
to engage with Scripture, allowing the living Word to guide and shape their lives."
"In summary, Jesus Christ stands as the ultimate messenger, fulfilling prophecy, embodying divine truth, and delivering the final revelation of God's plan for
humanity. His message of salvation and His ongoing presence through the Holy Spirit affirm His unique and unparalleled role in the divine narrative." - article
